Last fall, I had the opportunity to work with Broncolor and Hasselblad at Shoot Paris 2013, in order to demonstrate the capabilities of some new gear they release this year — even though both brands are a standard in the industry that need no further introduction, it is always great to show what they can do in a live event!
It was a fun afternoon at Studios Sala in Paris 11th district, close to my studio, and an opportunity to work with Alain Massabova from ART BMX Magazine, shooting stills of him performing impressive spinning tricks. The Hasselblad H5D-60 may not be the most obvious camera body to shoot action sports, but we were precisely there for that reason: to break preconceived ideas and show that it is super easy too to capture such moves with this gear. And it was amazing, and impressive!
As in the past, I worked with Broncolor exclusively for the light, and we were treated with super impressive light modelers on stage: nothing less than the Broncolor Para 88cm, the Para 133cm and the Para 330cm!
As usual, the Scoro 3200 S was the pack we chose to deliver super fast and sharp images.
Some of the pictures are below, hope you enjoy them!
